Riyadh puts paint through a hard year: long hours of direct UV, surface temperatures that swing dozens of degrees between afternoon and night, and fine dust that settles into every texture. A finish that performs beautifully in a mild climate can chalk, fade, or crack here within two summers.
Exterior walls
For facades we specify 100% acrylic elastomeric coatings. They stay flexible as the substrate expands and contracts, bridge hairline cracks, and carry UV-stable pigments that hold their colour. Lighter tones reflect heat and age more gracefully; deep colours look striking on day one but show fade first.
Interiors
Inside, the priority shifts to cleanability and air quality. We use low-VOC or zero-VOC water-based paints in a washable matte or eggshell sheen — matte hides wall imperfections, eggshell wipes clean in kitchens and hallways. Bathrooms and laundry rooms get a moisture-resistant formulation.
Preparation is 70% of the result
No paint compensates for a poor surface. Walls are washed, any chalking is stabilised with a bonding primer, cracks are raked out and filled, and the whole surface is primed before the first topcoat. Two full coats, not one heavy pass, give the even film that lasts.
